Reinforcing Chlorum’s presence in the Northeast of Brazil
Located in São Sebastião do Passé – BA, it was inaugurated in April 2023 to strengthen Chlorum’s presence in the Northeast region.
With a production capacity of 20 metric tons of chlorine per day, the plant supplies caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite, and hydrochloric acid to customers in the region, optimizing logistics and increasing supply security to the customers.
The Bahia plant is Chlorum Solutions’ newest facility and operates using the latest, ‘best in class’ technology for chlor-alkali production worldwide.

Logistics optimization We bring production closer to demand by supplying products that previously came from other states, such as Alagoas. Today, 80% of our customers are located within a radius of up to 50km, ensuring faster and more efficient delivery.
