Chlorum Solutions | Uberlândia, Minas Gerais
The first chlor-alkali plant established outside Brazil’s coastal areas.
Located in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, the facility began operations in February 2025 and represents an important milestone for Chlorum Solutions’ expansion strategy and for the development of the regional chemical industry. It is also the first unit of the Minas Gerais Chlor-Alkali Complex.
With a production capacity of 40 metric tons of chlorine per day, the plant produces hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite, and caustic soda, reinforcing Chlorum’s decentralized production model by bringing essential inputs closer to customers and increasing logistics efficiency across the region.
The Uberlândia plant is Chlorum Solutions’ seventh facility in Latin America.
